Sagamore Bridge: traffic on Cape Cod is completely stopped
Traffic jam on Sagamore Bridge
A car is reportedly crushed under a tractor trailer, on late morning Wednesday, on the Sagamore Bridge in Bourne. Traffic on Cape Cod is completely stop right now.
Massachusetts State Police tweeted about the crash on Route 6 eastbound and said the car was leaking gas.
The crash involved a Mercury Merquis and Mack Tractor Trailer owned by a Tounton landscapting company , according to police.
The Mercury driver, an 86 -year-old Quincy man was transported to Beth-Israel-Plymouth with suspected minor injuries. The truck driver not injured.

A local inhabitant Catherine Kojomo tweeted “Sagamore Bridge with major accident. Started around 1:30 and still not clear. Traffic backed up everywhere, even to my house. slow down ! “
