US plans to deploy Army to quash domestic unrest sparked after George Floyd killing
Insurrection Act of 1807 gives Trump authority to use army for domestic unrests
Minneapolis : Pentagon puts elite Military Police unit on standby as Donald Trump prepares to deploy the Army to the street to stop domestic riots spread across dozens of American cities ,on Friday, after George Floyd brutal killing in Minneapolis . It will be the first time since Los Angeles 1992 (Rodney King killing), the Pentagon ready to deploy Army on street to quash domestic unrest.
According to report, soldiers from Fort Bragg in North Calorina and Fort Drum in New York have been ordered to be ready to deploy within four hours if called.
Soldiers in Fort Carson in Colorado and Fort Riley in Kansas have been told to be ready in 24 hours.

The Army preparation orders were sent verbaly on Friday after President Donald Trump asked defence Secretary Mark Esper for military options to help quell the unrest in Minneapolis after protest turns looting in some parts of the city.

Donald Trump made the request on a phone call from the Oval Office on Thursday night that included Esper, National Security advisor Robert O’Brien and several others.

Actually, demonstrations and protests in several US cities erupted after the brutal killing of George Floyd in a Police Custody in Minneappolis. The first violence reporte near the Menneapolis 3rd Precinct station , which covers the portion of South Minneapolis where George Floyd was arrested. A confrontation between him and police , caught on video that subsequently viral, shows Floyd pleading for air as Officer Derek Chauvin presses his knee against him.
